Make the handoff specific and short

A useful caregiver note names the outing and the practical check: a stroller transfer, a rain layer in the bag, a spare after water play, or a laundry item that should not be used. It does not replace a caregiver’s judgment or a venue’s instructions.

Use the family workspace to manage who has access, then keep the daily context easy to review. The mobile app remains the place to check current weather and the live recommendation before the handoff begins.

Keep emergency information outside a generic outfit note

Weather, school, childcare, and travel disruptions can happen quickly. Maintain current contact and pickup information through the appropriate family, childcare, or venue process, and confirm how a caregiver should communicate a change of plan.

Bring it into the plan
